Come be a part of the magic on the scenic “Road to Hana” and get a front row ticket to see Maui’s endless beauty. Our day begins at 8am as we pick you up from your hotel or residence (we will drop you off at the same spot or a destination of your choice). 

This fun-filled day is fully customizable and designed to meet your level of excitement and capability. Take on as much adventure as you desire! We understand a lot of people are here for adventure, but some people come for a calmer and more relaxing experience, so we pride ourselves in our ability to create a fun, flexible and safe adventure for everyone in the group, and yes that includes Nans, Pops and the keiki (baby)! 

We begin our day with a trek towards the north shore and begin witnessing some of the most beautiful beaches and cliff sides in the world. Depending on the season, we could witness whale breaches and activity all along the coast, as they love the waters on our west shore. 

  As our journey to the jungle continues, our drive comes to a brief pause for an opportunity to stretch our legs and gaze upon the surfers and turtles that are abundantly present along the famous north shore. As we get excited for the day that’s ahead, this is a perfect opportunity to capture some amazing photos and talk with your guide about what you can expect going forward. After our north shore stop, the towns move further and further apart until eventually, it’s only jungle and our one little highway that runs through it. This provides an excellent canvas for us to create whatever day we desire!  As we always say, you never know what we’re going to find out on the road to Hana and this is what adds to the excitement ! We are here so you don’t need to know how to navigate things like the weather or the local response we run into. You can trust your guide to be trained and equipped with the know-how to handle any situation we may find ourselves in !

On our way to Hana, there will be an abundance of opportunities to pull over, be spontaneous and jump into waterfalls or take paths to hidden beaches or caves (or both)! Our day is designed around you and your group which makes it part of our mission to provide as much privacy as possible. Your guide will come equipped with the ika (knowledge) of the highway and all of Maui’s hidden gems to make this all possible. Our goal is to avoid the heavy traffic and tourist drama and allow a truly exclusive feel to your day.

After you’ve taken a dip in the mineral – rich waterfalls, stop off to the side of the road at a local fruit stand and try some of the most exotic tropical fruits only found here in Hawaii. If you’re feeling daring, jump off waterfall cliffs of various sizes or hike through endless paths of the bamboo forest that are sure to blow your mind and set us up for amazing photos! Still craving adventure? How about we go explore a cave or a lava tube! The choices are endless and there will always be opportunities to create amazing spontaneous fun! 

Once we arrive in Hana, we will be delighted to find a selection of everything the land and sea has to offer fresh for lunch. Hana is a community based town that is very isolated from the rest of the island, which means all of the food is going to be harvested or hunted close to the day we eat it, providing ultimate freshness and taste. The land is so abundant with food, we will probably be seeing and picking fruits all over!

After lunch we can progress to a black or red sand beach to walk off our food and enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. From here we can relax and soak in the beautiful day we are creating and get excited for what’s more to come, as the fun and adventure is only limited to our minds!

Our day will be accompanied by some of the richest plant life in the world, which will invite plenty of conversation on Hawaiian culture, myths and history. Our guides will be there to answer questions and tell engaging stories about the history of these islands and how they came to be what we know today, Hawai’i.
